Travel Program

Off -Pist tour in the Monterosa ski area

Monterosaski area, mostly the Alagna side, is famous for the large number of off – pist itineraries reachable by lifts. With the first lift (8.30 a.m) we reach Passo Salati at 3000m. After a safety breefing we have a warm up descent just to know the skills of our guests. Then we go on the top of P.Indren (3273m) by cable car and from there in according with the best snow conditions, the safety conditions and the technical skills of the group members, we choose one of the amazing descents long over 2000 m downhill . Among the many possible destinations: “Balma Valley, “Malfatta” , reachable whit a rappel, Salza Valley, the Lost Valley and many others.

After a lunch stop we can ski along different itineraries until 4/4 30 p.m. Back to Alagna for beer……

BALMA: The most classic itinerary. 2000 m of descent with many different lines available. Easy access from Punta Indren

SALZA: Another great classic through a wide valley north - west ward. 1750m of descent exciting also for beginners

MALFATTA: Great itinerary 2000 meters long. It requires a 40 meters rappel in a steep couloir to reach the paradise: a wide valley north – east ward where the powder remains for a long time.

VALLE PERDUTA: 45 minutes walking by skins to reach the steep access of the couloir. From there, 1850 m down through a great glacier.

ZUBE VALLEY: 30 minutes walking and then 1750 m down through .. the most beautiful valley of the area
