Lyskamm4000 proposes a promotional day to introduce ski mountaineering. Every year, it’s larger the number of people that, bored from the chaos of the slopes, get in touch with this activity
The promotional day is open to the ones who want to approach this different way of skiing, away from crowding and in touch with nature, learning to live the mountain in winter conscientiously and responsibly.
The organized groups ( min. 5 persons) can choose different dates depending on your needs.
Travel Program
Ski mountaineering introduction
Meeting at 8.00 am in Alagna with our Mountain Guide. Equipment check and up with the lift to Passo Salati (2980mt). Here will be given the basics of avalanche prevention and use A.R.V.A.. Later we’ ll learn the climbing techniques with skins on a route long about 300 m uphill. From the top, going down through a beautiful wild valley, we will work about the individual technique of off-piste skiing. Coming back to Alagna around 4 p.m.
Possible destination: Zube Pass 2879 m and descent through Val d'Otro
