Fifth summit of the Alps (4478m), the Mattherhorn, is characterized by a particular pyramidal form. It has four main walls oriented to the cardinal points, divided by vertiginous ridges. The other two, much more difficult are not climbed frequently. Our proposals are therefore limited to the normal routes Italian and Switzerland.
